How To Tummy Time

Tummy time is crucial for healthy development of a baby’s strong neck and shoulder muscles and promotes motor skills and milestones! It can also prevent any flat spots from developing on your baby’s head (known as positional plagiocephaly). But, tummy time is not always easy or enjoyable for you or your baby! Your baby may be fussy or you may not know what to look for during this important time with your baby.

We have broken down “how to tummy time” with tips, tricks, troubleshooting, and images of what to look for at each age.  Knowing how to tummy time is a skill and we are here to break it down for you and your baby.  As a reminder, both you and your baby should always be awake for tummy time.  Never leave your baby unattended during tummy time.
